Finding Nemo Jr. 

Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.

Preschool Theater

Teacher, Libby Baumgartner!

"Intro to theater" for Preschool age kids, is an exciting opportunity to learn about what it means to tell stories on stage! This class will talk about the different parts of a story, how we might act when we feel hurt, scared, mad, sad, happy, etc. and what it means to be empathetic. We will also cover basic vocabulary for the stage, how costumes and sets play into a story, and of course, the joy of acting!

Libby Baumgartner has a BA in Theatre Arts Performance from California Lutheran University, obtained in 2018. She has also worked with children for over a decade, directed a youth theatre group, is pursuing her AA in early childhood education, currently teaches at a preschool and is a mom as well!

9-10:30am Saturdays, 1/18-3/8 (8 weeks)

 Wednesdays 4:30-6  

This class covers the ins and outs of acting for media along with the differences between stage acting and screen acting. Students will learn techniques for acting in TV commercials, TV series, feature films and more. They will also work together to act in several projects such as short films, webisodes and web series that are created and produced by fellow students.
