This heart-warming family-friendly musical features the Cat in the Hat, as he the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

Filmmaking FUN!

If you’re interested in making a movie and are ready to jump in and start directing, acting, editing, OR ALL OF THE ABOVE, this is the camp for you! We’ll be working collaboratively to create films you can be proud of, while developing an understanding of directing, writing, editing, and camera techniques. Never held a camera? Never fear - all levels of expertise are welcome and encouraged.  So bring your enthusiasm and originality, and let’s craft, create, and collaborate!

Harry Potter Film Camp

Ages 8 & up  


Join Reel Kids in recreating your favorite Harry Potter scenes, or making your own! Scenes will be filmed, directed, edited and uploaded BY YOU! This is a great introduction to the magic that happens at Reel Kids,  with a peek behind the scenes as well as a chance to learn more about acting for the camera! If you love performing, are interested in acting for film, and are a Harry Potter fan, this camp is for you!


Harry Potter Returns Camp



Ages 8 & up

For the film/Harry Potter aficionado, Reel Kids presents a more extensive look at scenes, techniques and themes of the Harry Potter movies and books. Prepare to learn about lighting, special effects and more in this SEQUEL to our fastest-selling-out-Harry Potter Film Camp!

Come experience a condensed version of our most successful, ten years in finessing,  invite-only, year long program “Video performance Troupe.” Each day will consist of a new project to be created, filmed and edited by YOU. This crash camp is great for anyone interested in our year long program, or just maybe, learning what it is like in the film industry as a whole!


Acting for Film 1




Learn the basics of film acting, from finding your mark, to cold readings, working with scripts from your favorite tv shows and a general understanding of acting and gaining confidence in front of the camera!.


Fun Acting Improv

Ages 8 & up. M-F Ever have trouble speaking in public? Or being shy? Or just feel uncreative? Well, you’re not alone! Improv is all about overcoming self-doubt, being in the moment, and going with the flow. It’s about getting out of your head. It’s also shockingly fun! In this class, we will cover the basics of improv, play theatre games, create characters, and develop comic situations, culminating in a performance on the final day of class.

Photography 101--MADE FUN!

This week long class will cover the basics of digital photography including the use of the camera, techniques and different angles. 

We also will cover artistic principles including composition, space, exposure, color and light.


ANNIE JR. (1:30-5:30pm), 7/11-7/22 

Ages 7 & up, Shows 7/22-7/24 Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.


Acting for Film 2

9:30am-12:30pm, 7/11-7/15 


All ages. Expand your talent, strengthen your acting skills, and explore creating solid characters in front of the camera. In this class, we will begin making your own acting reel, film whole scenes from your favorite films, and fine-tune your acting chops.



Web Series

7/18-7/22 9:30-12:30pm, Ages 8-15 

Imagine starring in and creating your very own show! Now’s the time to bring that dream to life. As a crew, we’ll develop, film and edit together our very own web-series, shooting an episode a day. By the end of the week we’ll have our very own 1st season of a show! Inspired by your favorite shows, you’ll have full creative license to tell your own episodic story as a team. Sitcom, Soap Opera, or Fantasy...the possibilities are endless!
