Ages 13-up, this wonderful family-friendly musical takes place 7/26-8/13, 1-6pm. Six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves!
Fun ACTING IMPROV

Ever have trouble speaking in public? Or being Shy? Or just feeling uncreative? Well, you’re not alone! Improv is all about overcoming self-doubt, being in the moment, and going with the flow. It’s about getting out of your head. It’s also shockingly fun. In this class, we will cover the basics of improv, play theatre games, create characters, and develop comic situations, culminating in a performance the final night of class.
